Kranjska Gora's main asset is its ski slopes. These stretch along the slopes of Vitranec, past Podkoren all the way to Planica. They are interwoven with thirteen lifts and six chairlifts, four of which are four-seater. Most of the slopes, 80ha, are also artificially snow-covered.

Magnificent, mysterious, exciting, playful and unique. Endemic animal species, including wolf, bear and lynx, and rich plant diversity with 19 endemics.

There are two lakes (individually also Klansko and Mangartsko jezero) located in the Julian Alps, more precisely in the Mangart Valley near the village of Trbiž, not far from Rateč and three kilometres between Italy, Austria and Slovenia.

The 9-hole golf course is set in the idyllic surroundings of the Škals vineyards. It is extremely undulating due to its natural features and is entirely surrounded by vineyards. Water hazards and numerous trees add variety to the playing fields,

Erjavec's Cottage on Vršič is located on the Kranj Mountain side of the Vršiška road, on a lookout point above the nearby torrent. In good weather, the hut offers a beautiful view of the peaks above the Pišnice valley and part of the mountains above the Vršiška road.

It lies on the northern edge of the Triglav National Park, flanked to the south by the forested Vitranc Mountains and to the north by the equally forested Karavanke Mountains. The Drni bog is about 1200 metres long, 150 metres wide on average, 200 metres wide at its widest part and only 20 metres wide at its narrowest part.

The Tamar Valley is a picturesque glacial valley in the Julian Alps in the extreme north-western part of Slovenia. This beautiful valley is a continuation of the famous Planica Valley, world famous for its ski jumping and where the World Cup finals are held.

The Planica Nordic Centre offers plenty of fun on hot summer days and in the harshest winter. Take a look at the activities you can do in Planica and enjoy a relaxing break in the beautiful valley below the Ponce Mountains!

Mojstrana is an excellent starting point for cycling along one of the most beautiful cycling routes in Gorenjska. It runs from Jesenice to the border crossing at Rateče, for a total length of about 28 km.
